Hello world! You are reading the first ever post on my blog. My name is Misty. I'm a fashion designer. I've also heard people describe me as an artist. As for me, well... if I ever figure out how I self-identify, I'll let you know.
One this I do know, however, is that I know a lot about sewing. As I've browsed other sewing and craft blogs on the internet, I realized that I happen to know a lot more than most. I also happen to have a very analytical point of view of what its like to be a beginner looking in from the outside. I acutely remember how it was when I was starting, and the things I wished somebody had explained to me long ago.
My goal here is to tell you every single thing I know about sewing machines and sewing, so that it doesn't have to be an intimidating or frustrating experience. Here I'll share all the information I've collected over the years, the projects that I'm working on, and anything else interesting or educational that crosses my path. As a designer, I have an appreciation for many many other forms of design and art, and I'll share those with you too!
